A Dream Come True
In our last update I mentioned our plans to build a four-bedroom bungalow for our younger children. The good news is we have begun to build! The staff in Ghana is so excited about the fulfillment of a vision that began so long ago. In a little video you will hear Pastor Paul praise God that what He began so long ago is now being fulfilled.
Building at the coast is more expensive than in other areas. We are building on beach sand and have to take extra precautions with plastic sheets under the foundation, plus special cement because of the sea salt.
We have been blessed to get a builder that was trained by a Canadian Missionary from another area in Ghana. He has come with a team of seven men. Most of the cement blocks that are made on site are normally not as strong as what we would see here in Canada. But this mason is producing strong blocks, so we are thrilled. WE are building a house to last!!!!
Our hope is to raise enough funds to enclose the house completely by Christmas. Then in the next three months to put in the hydro, plumbing, septic etc.
The plan is to bring a building team in from Canada in April to install the fixtures, doors, paint and basically finish the building inside so our children can move into their new home in May.
If you would like to sow into this project you can do so on our web site HERE by sending a check to Titian Ministries at 455 County Rd. 34. W. Essex, ON, N8M 2×5
The pictures tell the story….
